how many married men today are so anxious of their wife's return from a busy day or from abroad? maybe for some this is not a problem because their wives are always home. but i'm referring to moms who have to go somewhere and help her man in augmenting the family income. gone are the days when only men go out to hunt. work, break his back to support his family. today, with the advance of technology much more in the improvement of communication, family members can keep in touch from different corners of the community or even the globe itself!
i only assented to my wife leaving for work abroad due to the fact that we already have internet connectivity. of course there are other ways of communicating like phones, snail mails, text messaging, etc., but the internet provides a lot more in the form of chats, voice chats, and the webcam. it is a very convenient way of "seeing" and "talking" to a partner on a daily basis as if she or he is just by your side.
of course nothing beats the real physical contact, the warmth that one doesn't feel over the airwaves, which is a must in any relationship.
so now, my wife is coming home because i know for sure that she really misses her family and the warmth of an embrace; the wetness of a kiss...
