back it up!

i'm frustrated with myself! i transferred some files from my desktop to my laptop and somehow lost precious data in the process! how stupid of me. now i'm trying to find a backup file from my cds and i hope i can find the ones i lost somewhere safe and backed up!
please, show me a sign of hope that i may find the files again.
i thought with all our hi tech gadgetry we can make life easier, but with a touch of a button or an icon, anything can change. in an instant our hopes can turn to regrets or even push us to the verge of self-disintegration!
that's the reason we have back up. now i try to write down on hard copy ballpoint pen and paper journal the important events, people, memos, to-dos, what-have-yous, which i may later retrieve without the use of any form of electricity. i'll just pull open my drawer or cabinet and voila! i have my desire right there.
bottomline: don't trust your hitechs!

just another year

the year 2007 is about to say bye-bye, can i say it's just another year

among the many gone by? what has 2007 to brag about to the other

years? is it a better year? or it's worse than most of the times and days

i have encountered in this lonely planet? some say, we make the most

of our days. we decide what kind of life we want. cuz what you put

into the cookie jar is what you will get unless someone else beats you

to the goodies placed inside. who was the guy who said life is a box

of chocolates? was it Forrest Gump? i can't remember. anyways,

here's what i can call my achievement for this year:
i was able to be both father and mother to my kids while my wife is

away working in saudi arabia; i am teaching humanities once again, a

subject which was taken from me in 2005 by sir pagaduan and called

it as his own in the fine arts; i can now use hi-tech gadgets in my class

instruction; my wife thought it best to install an air conditioning unit

in our bedroom which is a very wise choice indeed (although sawing

the window grills took a bit of my well-reserved energies) ; my

friendster account has accumulated more than five hundred friends

and i really know them all (i have two accounts by the way, the other

one has nearly 200 friends as of the last count); i'm now a moderator

in one of the popular sites on the internet, zebo; i've still maintained

being one of the most sought after teachers in the university---i can

brag about this cuz there's proof: my classes get closed at the first day

of enrollment!; i'm almost free from the university research editorial

writing cuz i have one more write-up to submit; we were able to send

our son to thailand for a one-week pathfinder camping, not

bad,---although my son lost his nokia cellphone in the process!; i can

now have free access to the internet via wifi, well, i still do pay P300

monthly but that's a different connection, so i have two choices for

connectivity giving me a kind of backup in case one bogs down;

because my wife insisted i buy a smart sim for my cellphone, i now

have two cps, one for globe and one for smart---just a little bit of

hassle lugging the phones in my pockets!;

facintosh

some say it is hard to put a virus into any of the apple macintosh products. but here's the proof. you can see a worm coming out of the apple logo!
someone will definitely find the virus that will infiltrate the high and mighty macintosh to turn it into facintosh!

btw, why are you so mad at apple macintosh?

cuz they have very costly products! why can't they make their products available to common people so they can really compete with microsoft's windows? isn't this possible?

wandering flipside

the first time i set foot on piney city's red soil
was not too long ago i still remember it all
i grabbed the chance i had
the choice i made not bad
because that was the turning point

we rode the bus together an eight-hour ride
we don't need chaperons we don't require a guide
she snuggled close to me
i guess we're meant to be
the thought i had was surely right

we spent a week enjoying the city's beautiful sights
the evening stars just sparkle like bright christmas lights
the air was crisp and cold
and yet we were so bold
to promenade the streets at night

it really was another chapter of my life
and now i'm sure she will be best for me as my wife
i promised with my heart
that i would do my part
to take good care of her from now on

the vow i made has put an end to all that was past
and now i face my life with love i hope will last
together we will face
and share love's sweet embrace
her love she promised she will give

and she did.

another blog book?

hi, today! i'm just trying out this famous blogger website. wazzup? waznu? is the title of my blogspot.
you're asking me why add another blogbook? well, just a backup maybe, or whatever. sometimes i can't get into my friendster blog so, the thoughts that are in the tip of my tongue escapes and i'm standing..maybe falling...on, in, down the abyss where darkness envelops all my bright ideas, only to be recovered in a much shorter version than the original one i had...it's a mess, really!
well, let's see...
there's no harm in trying.
try a bullet in your head, whacko!
